Seal of Authority - Diamond Certification and Grading Explained

    cert giaiai.jpg

GIA (Gemological Institute of America) stands at the pinnacle of credibility in diamond certification. Renowned for its uncompromising standards and precise grading, GIA ensures each diamond meets the highest level of quality. A GIA certificate is more than a report - it’s a mark of trust, excellence, and lasting value.

IGI (International Gemological Institute) is a globally recognized diamond grading authority known for its efficient and flexible evaluation standards. It uniquely includes the 'Hearts and Arrows' cut in its reports, offering a more detailed view of craftsmanship. Widely accepted in the global market, IGI certificates provide both reliability and diverse options for consumers.

Diamond color grading ranges from D to Z, with D-F being colorless, and D being the most rare and pure. G-J are near-colorless, with faint undertones that still maintain brilliance in specific lighting. As the grade decreases, the color deepens, transitioning from light yellow to the noticeable yellow of Z. RAGAZZA exclusively selects the highest-grade D color diamonds, renowned for their flawless whiteness, which sparkle with exceptional brilliance in any light, perfectly embodying their rare and incomparable value.

    cert clarity.jpg

Diamond clarity ranges from IF+ (internally flawless) to I (included), reflecting the presence of internal and surface imperfections. RAGAZZA’s IF+ diamonds are exceptionally rare, offering flawless brilliance. VVS and VS grades feature only minute inclusions, barely visible even under magnification. While SI and I grades may show visible inclusions, a well-balanced choice across the 4Cs ensures optimal beauty and value.

    cert cut.jpg

Cut is the key to a diamond’s brilliance - precise angles allow light to reflect and refract perfectly, creating exceptional sparkle. Graded from Excellent to Poor, only Excellent cuts fully maximize brightness. In contrast, deep or shallow cuts cause light leakage, diminishing radiance. RAGAZZA selects diamonds with Good to Excellent+ cuts, ensuring optimal light performance and unmatched brilliance.

    Natural Diamond VS Lab Grown
Natural diamonds showcase natural beauty and rarity, while lab grown diamonds offer affordability and functionality.
