Payments and tax

Revised: 22 October 2026

Print

This policy sets out payment methods, service fees, currency, tax and refund payment arrangements.

1. Payment methods and verification

Website payment methods are shown at checkout. Showroom and assisted orders accept cards, cash, bank transfers, FPS, cheques and electronic methods confirmed by us, according to the location and sales channel.

Customers must use the official payment details provided by the Company and supply the record needed to match payment to the order. Bank transfers, remittances and cheques are credited after receipt of funds is verified. Products are not released for collection or dispatch before full payment. We do not offer instalments.

2. Service fee and designated-payment discount

A 1.5% service fee applies to product transactions. A 1.5% designated-payment discount is available for specified methods such as bank transfer and FPS.

The product price, service fee, payment discount, shipping and applicable tax are itemised and confirmed at checkout or before payment. The paid service fee attributable to refunded products is handled together with the refund under our refund arrangements.

3. Currency and conversion

Website prices may be displayed in a selected currency. Website card transactions are processed in Hong Kong dollars; customers must check the payment page for the amount and settlement currency before paying. Card-issuer or payment-provider conversion and associated charges follow that provider’s terms.

Showrooms generally collect payment in local currency. The amount and currency for assisted orders are confirmed before payment and recorded in the order or transaction record.

4. Taxes, duties and import charges

Applicable 5% Taiwan business tax is shown in the transaction breakdown. The product price, applicable tax and total payable are confirmed at checkout or before payment.

Goods are dispatched from Hong Kong. Import tax, customs duty, clearance and related destination charges are payable by the recipient to the relevant authority, carrier or organisation, unless the order states that we cover them or applicable law requires otherwise.

Corresponding refundable Taiwan tax collected by us is returned with the eligible refund and the accounting records adjusted. Amounts paid directly to government, customs or another organisation follow that organisation’s procedures.

5. High-value payments and statutory checks

We verify funds, identity and required records under the anti-money-laundering and related laws applicable to the transaction. Customers must supply information needed for statutory and transaction checks. Transactions requiring verification are handled according to the results and applicable requirements.

Our Hong Kong business is a Category A dealer in precious metals and stones, registration A-B-23-07-00687. We do not accept specified cash transactions in Hong Kong totalling HK$120,000 or more, or the equivalent in another currency. An accepted non-cash method must be used. Linked payments are assessed together as required.

Payment restrictions and verification elsewhere follow local requirements and the arrangements confirmed before payment.

6. Refund payments and bank charges

Refunds are generally paid by bank transfer in the verified and confirmed refundable amount and currency, using a local bank where arranged. Customers must provide accurate receiving-bank details.

Charges independently imposed by the recipient’s bank are generally borne by the recipient. Refund and transfer fees that must legally be borne by us are handled by the Company. See Returns and refunds for eligibility, timing and refundable items.
